ATI of America in Utah is now hiring a full-time Lead Technician to fill an opening in our Production Department. We are a fast-growing company that provides installation and service for high-end home AV systems.
Lead Technicians are responsible for working with the Project Managers and the other technicians assigned to their projects to ensure the successful execution and completion of the project, particularly in the finishing phase. This position entails installing and servicing home automation systems, including AV, HVAC, lighting, shades, and security. Lead Technicians are the lead person for the ATI team on each job site in the Project Manager’s absence. They are responsible for ensuring that the right product is correctly installed and in the right place, installing racks, troubleshooting, testing systems, and doing some rough-in work as necessary.
Summary of Job Responsibilities
- Successfully execute and complete assigned projects through the finishing phase.
- Work directly with Project Managers and contractors to ensure correct procedures are followed, materials are available when needed, and the client is satisfied with the project.
- Assist junior technicians with tasks when needed due to training gaps or time constraints.
- Strong written, verbal, in-person, and over-the-phone communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
ATI is looking for a qualified candidate with hands-on experience in the AV industry, preferably as a technician. Formal education in the electrical or AV fields is a bonus but is not required. Proficiency in wired and wireless networks and the ability to read construction plans are integral to this position, although some training may be available for the right candidate.
